The Andover is a blanket chest defined by its grounded proportion and restrained, architectural form. Its low horizontal profile creates a stable presence, suited to placement at the foot of a bed or within a larger room composition.
Constructed in solid cherry, the material introduces warmth and depth while maintaining a controlled, refined surface. The structure is precise, allowing proportion and joinery to define the work. The lid is fitted with care, forming a clean, uninterrupted plane above the case.
The interior provides generous enclosed storage for blankets, linens, or seasonal items, resolved within a simple and disciplined form. Each element is reduced to its essential function, allowing the overall composition to remain quiet and balanced.
Built entirely by hand using traditional 18th-century joinery, The Andover is suited to bedrooms, hallways, and living spaces where low, horizontal storage is required with clarity and restraint.
