The Deerfield is a tall Early American storage piece that bridges the line between cupboard and dresser, inspired by 18th-century New England forms. Built entirely by hand from reclaimed Midwestern barnwood pine, it combines open shelving above with generously scaled drawers below, offering both display and concealed storage in a single, historically grounded silhouette.
The upper case features fixed shelves framed by stout uprights, ideal for linens, ceramics, books, or collections. Below, three full-depth drawers provide practical storage, each fitted with traditional wooden knobs. The proportions are intentionally vertical yet restrained, allowing the piece to anchor a room without overwhelming it.
Constructed using traditional joinery and finished by hand, The Deerfield is designed for historic homes and interiors where authenticity, material integrity, and quiet craftsmanship matter. Built by commission, each piece reflects the character of its reclaimed wood and the enduring forms of early American furniture.
