The Hartford is a traditional dry sink reimagined as a refined server and storage console. Defined by balanced early American proportions and a generous basin-style top, it functions comfortably as a serving piece, bar console, or dining room storage where practical surface space matters.
Crafted from reclaimed Midwestern barn pine, The Hartford is built entirely by hand using traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery and wooden pins—without nails, screws, or mechanical fasteners. Drawers are hand-cut with dovetails, and doors are framed and fitted for long-term stability and daily use.
Offered in Heritage Amber to highlight the natural character of reclaimed pine, or finished in Historic Charcoal / Soft Black for a more architectural, design-forward presence. Original nail holes, knots, and checking are preserved, stabilized, and sealed, allowing the material’s history to remain visible within a clean, restrained silhouette.
Built one at a time, The Hartford reflects American Heritage Furniture Co.’s commitment to early American craftsmanship, material honesty, and furniture designed to integrate seamlessly into modern interiors.
