The Hartford is a dry sink defined by its balanced proportion and strong horizontal presence. A basin-style top sits above a composed case, creating a clear and functional surface suited to serving, storage, or display.
Constructed from select-grade soft maple, the painted body provides a controlled and consistent structure, allowing proportion and joinery to define the work. A cherry top introduces warmth and contrast, resolving the composition through a measured relationship between material and form. Drawers and doors are fitted with precision, maintaining a quiet, uninterrupted facade.
The upper surface provides usable depth for service or preparation, while the enclosed case below offers practical storage. The form remains disciplined, with each element contributing to a clear, resolved elevation.
Built entirely by hand using traditional 18th-century joinery, The Hartford is suited to dining rooms, kitchens, and living spaces where function and architectural presence are equally required.
