The Plymouth is a panel bed defined by its scale, proportion, and grounded architectural presence. Its composition is deliberate—establishing a strong horizontal and vertical framework that anchors the bedroom with clarity and restraint.
Constructed in solid cherry, the material introduces warmth and depth while maintaining a refined, consistent surface. The paneled headboard and footboard are proportioned to create a balanced elevation, allowing structure and joinery to define the work. Transitions between posts, rails, and panels are clean and uninterrupted.
The form is resolved through simplicity, with each element contributing to a composed and stable presence. The bed reads as substantial without excess, supporting the overall architecture of the room.
Built entirely by hand using traditional 18th-century joinery, The Plymouth is suited to bedrooms where scale, permanence, and disciplined form are required.
