The Saybrook is a corner hutch defined by its angled form and balanced vertical proportion. Its geometry is deliberate—allowing the piece to settle naturally into a corner while maintaining a composed architectural presence.
Constructed in solid cherry, the material introduces warmth and depth while maintaining a refined, consistent surface. The structure is precise, allowing proportion and joinery to define the work. Transitions between upper and lower cases are clean, forming a unified and disciplined elevation.
The upper cabinet features glazed doors for display, providing visual lightness, while the lower case offers enclosed storage to ground the form. This relationship between openness and concealment is resolved through proportion rather than ornament.
Built entirely by hand using traditional 18th-century joinery, The Saybrook is suited to kitchens, dining rooms, and interiors where corner placement and vertical storage are required with clarity and restraint.
