The Sentinel is a tall cupboard defined by its vertical proportion and composed architectural presence. Its elevation is deliberate—drawing the eye upward while maintaining a restrained, balanced stance within the room.
Constructed from select-grade soft maple, the structure is precise and controlled, allowing proportion and joinery to define the work. A cherry top introduces warmth against the painted body, creating a measured contrast within the overall composition. Framed doors and fitted drawers form a quiet, uninterrupted facade.
The upper cabinet, set with glazed doors, provides accessible storage for display or daily use, while the lower case offers enclosed capacity for larger items. The relationship between open and closed storage is resolved with clarity, maintaining order without excess.
Built entirely by hand using traditional 18th-century joinery, The Sentinel is suited to dining rooms, kitchens, libraries, and entryways where vertical presence and disciplined form are required.
