The Wethersfield is a corner hutch defined by its height, proportion, and disciplined architectural presence. Its angled form allows it to settle cleanly into a corner while maintaining a composed and balanced elevation.
Constructed in solid cherry, the material introduces warmth and depth while maintaining a refined, consistent surface. The structure is precise, allowing proportion and joinery to define the work. Transitions between upper and lower cases are clean and resolved, forming a unified composition.
The upper cabinet features glazed doors for display, providing visual lightness, while the lower case offers enclosed storage with a single drawer above, grounding the form. The relationship between openness and concealment is deliberate, resolved through proportion rather than ornament.
Built entirely by hand using traditional 18th-century joinery, The Wethersfield is suited to dining rooms, kitchens, and interiors where corner placement and vertical storage are required with clarity and restraint.
