Every item is meticulously handcrafted, employing various joinery techniques that were utilized by early American woodworking artisans centuries ago. We personally handsaw and chisel all our dovetail joints, exclusively using mortise & tenon joints with wooden pegs in all our joinery. This commitment means that we do not incorporate screws or modern fasteners in our construction; instead, we depend entirely on our expertise as woodsmythes to produce unique, long-lasting heirloom pieces.
